Dr. Wellhausen is very kind and an expert in Functional Medicine. She is compassionate, super knowledgeable and works with you to get to the root of your problem. What I also love is that if you need further imaging or lab testing, she can send you out to obtain what you need and then work from what those results may be pointing to. The office staff is always positive and warm; they also work hard to serve/resource patients in a professional manner. Both my husband and I highly recommend Dr. Wellhausen!

Began seeing Dr Wellhausen about 2/3 years ago for Graves disease, depression, anxiety, memory problems, low energy, night terrors and muscle wasting from Graves.
Very knowledgeable. After two weeks of treatment felt like a brand new person. Had been on a medical leave of absence for several months but after 2 weeks of treatment was ready to go back to work. Still battling the illness and have ups and downs in my health but I'm optimistic.

Update: I finally have been consistent with the treatment for the most part for long enough for it to work and I'm off of all my medications and feeling pretty good.

She certainly cares about her patients and isn't in it for the Monday because she throws in perks for me here and there.

She's amazing. I'm not sure my son would be here today without her genuine concern, I was seeing a traditional obgyn which didn't seem concerned at all about my extremely low Vit D (which has a direct link to miscarriages and birth defects) , CO-Q-10. I already had a high Risk for miscarriage. She was the one who asked for the blood work and figured it all out.

She just pushes supplements and does not really address the issues. I had a problem with not absorbing my meals/nutrients and she would get mad because "I was not following her protocol" and I was so following it- I tried her for 2 years until I figured it out.
