I had such an amazing experience with Miguel Barillas. I am definitely looking forward to having more sessions with him in the near future. I had experienced somatic experiencing in the past but I never really understood how effective this kind of therapy was until I had my session with Miguel. Miguel Barillas is the best therapist I’ve worked with. Compassionate, empathic and knowledgeable. This therapy he’s using: “Somatic Experiencing” has done wonders for me. Working with various childhood traumas, he’s able to guide me and protect me from whatever could and does come out of dormancy. EMDR was too much for me and got me to dissociate right away. This is a much gentler approach that focuses on releasing any shocks of the nervous system. So I don’t get re-traumatized by going back there. This is so crucial for anybody who has gone through terrible things. Thank you Miguel! You’re a life saver and I recommend him a million times over.
