I have been on hold for twenty minutes listening to music and a robotic voice thanking me for my patience. I don't have any patience left. All I wanted to ask was for a copy of my medical records.
If you disagree with a doctor here they will dismiss you from their practice. I was told I had yelled at a nurse practitioner, I didn't, and when I arrived for my next appointment with the doctor I had to sit and listen to him yell at me for ten minutes over something I did not do. Then I was dismissed from the practice without any recommendations for another physician to take over my care. This is a privately owned practice so it is perfectly legal for them to refuse to see you. I was told I would be given refills on any needed medications for thirty days but then I was on my own. I am on permanent disability too. The staff, once you get them on the phone, are nice. The doctor I saw was not. I am not mentioning his name at this time because of legal reasons. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

0/0 recommend. They are seeming to turn to catering certain populations. Every time I went it was heavy, dark, and nearly all had miserable attitudes. NP was great, too bad.

I just left Shelby to move to Oklahoma. One of the downsides to the move was losing the care of Dr Aldinger and Amber. The medical care and personal contacts with all the staff at Shelby Medical Associates was always top notch. I highly recommend Shelby Medical Associates and Dr Aldinger.

Doctor Besson has always made every effort to address any concerns and problems that I have.
I know that he has spent a lot of time with other doctors when I was referred some where. They have told me so.
The staff is very good at getting back to me when I call in. Knowing that he and Mrs Fox will do their very best, brings me comfort and peace of mind.
They both will take the time to listen to me..
They make me feel like they are treating a friend!

I have been made very welcome into the patient population. I have had numerous occasions to need to be seen and have never had a poor experience. Betty Morehead FNP has been my doctor for years and will go where ever she goes. Staff, nurses and technicians have been top notch. I'm very pleased to be accepted into their practice.

I would give them a zero review if I could. My daughter who tested positive for Covid and also has 3 high risk factors which is high blood pressure, asthma, and a BMI >25 was seen at Shelby Medical today and the NP was very unkind and unprofessional, no compassion whatsoever, especially when my daughter told her that she was unvaccinated for Covid. My daughter requested an antibody infusion but was refused, even with the 3 high risk factors, because she was not an "old person" (the NP words). So much for the oath to do whatever possible to protect your patients. I do not recommend Shelby Medical.
