Estube ahi el dia 2 de febrero por un dolor en mi pecho y costo que me a tendieran gracias a Dios no era el corazon de lo contrario creo que me hubiese muerto esperando,tambien en cada salon de espera dice que no importa el idioma que hables ya que el hospital cuenta con traductores, eso es mentira nadie hablaba Español,al final no supe que era lo que tenia ya que no supieron darme una explicacion de lo que yo tenia,pero para enviarme una factura de 5,826 dolares si tienen el primer lugar.

This was the worst experience at an er that I've ever had. I was taken in pretty quickly for xray and bloodworm but after that it was 5 more hours before I was brought to a room in the back. Then I was there another 7 hours just for blood work and one ct scan. I will say that the staff was pleasant and I know they couldn't help being stretched thin, but there was a veteran in the waiting room with lung cancer and problems breathing and he had been sitting there 5 hours until he finally just left. I understand that hospitals need to prioritize care but there needs to be an er that is designated for non life threatening emergencies so people aren't just waiting for hours on end miserable and in pain.

The whole second floor (Women & Children) was amazing. I spent 28 days total, mostly in postpartum, but I did bounce around antepartum and L&D. All the nurses were amazing and attentive. To shout out a few would be Hillary, Jordan, Hannah B., Hannah C., Cindy, Brandey, Christina, Ardrey, Alyson, Jakayla, and my favorites are Ma’at, Lauren, and Marinda. All the tech were nice and didn’t mind keeping me company from time to time. Overall, I have no complaints about my long extended stay. Also, a massive shout-out to the food worker staff for making specialty meals for new parents.

I also appreciate Autumn and Kristen from the nursery, who came down to the ER when my baby was back a few days later. The hug Autumn gave me meant the world to me and showed me I was seen as a person and not just another patient.

After being transported to the hospital by ambulance due to an epilepsy seizure, I received immediate attention from the ambulance staff. Upon arrival, I was quickly moved into an open room, where the medical team initiated an IV and assessed my pain levels. My nurse recognized the urgency of my situation, as I was experiencing pain-induced seizures, and offered to expedite the process by requesting the doctor's assistance. Following a brief wait, Dr. Adam Jones, the on-call physician, arrived and began the examination process. However, I requested a brief delay to allow my husband, who was approaching the room, to be present. Dr. Jones responded by asking if I was refusing the examination, to which I clarified that I was merely requesting a brief delay. He then instructed the nurse to summon him only when necessary and exited the room. The nurse apologized for Dr. Jones' behavior, and I expressed my concern about his unprofessional demeanor, ultimately requesting a different physician. My husband arrived in my room while I was stressed and upset by his conversation with me and the nurse. After I told him to leave, he returned and said, 'Okay, good luck waiting for another doctor; you're going to be waiting a while.' Thirty minutes passed with no medication or medical assistance, and I started having a seizure. My husband called for help, and the staff rushed to my bedside. My husband had to keep suction on me to prevent choking. He asked the staff to get a doctor to help me before I went into cardiac arrest. They said they needed the doctor's orders to administer medication. A nurse expressed concern, saying she couldn't watch this happen. The security guard told my husband to do what he had to do. My husband left the room and asked Doctor Adam Jones to help me, but he refused. My husband returned to the room, upset, and said something had to be done. The nurse got the charge nurse, who tried to talk to Doctor Jones, but he just laughed. After five minutes, another doctor arrived and immediately began treatment, which successfully stopped the seizures. Meanwhile, my husband expressed his concerns to the doctor, detailing the events that had occurred. He was very concerned and had contacted the appropriate individuals to reach out to us. Additionally, he spoke with the charge nurse, who had also filed a complaint. Upon arriving home later that night, I received my chart summary and was surprised to find that Doctor Adam Jones had filed a police report against my husband, claiming that he had threatened to kill him. However, this statement was never made during our visit. Although a brief argument ensued, such a threat was never uttered. We are now back home, still dealing with the consequences of a highly unsatisfactory experience at SGMC Health, which marks the second such incident in multiple visits please look at pictures loaded more details about our story google review request my review was to long 😡

Had a great experience here at SGMC Health, twice! My wife has had to have 2 emergency surgeries there. The ED was very professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Both surgeries were done in a timely manner by good surgeons and support teams. We were treated well. We were taken care of. We felt safe. We were kept in the loop with what was going on. Great experience for us!
