My husband & I use Family Medical. Dr. Hess and all the staff are exceptional and courteous. More importantly, staff are up to date on medical info & knowledgeable. We have both been seen at the clinic with minor to major illnesses and no complaints as the care was superior! As for front end, never an issue and our experience with staff including billing has been nothing less than pleasant. Always helpful & courteous.

I use them when I can't get in to see my regular doctor. Every one is helpful from the front desk to the lab workers and the ladies that check you out. Their staff for doctors, PA"s and nurse practitioners are extremely knowledgeable and they actually care that you aren't feeling well or have a broken bone or need stitches. They must give classes on giving shots because they do not hurt like they should. They are just well rounded people that want you to get better. You can even receive help with your diabetes here! There's not much they don't do. I use them as often as I can. They even do it with a smile on their face and they take their time with you and explain everything to you on your level so that you understand what they have planned for your recovery. What else can I say. Come give them a try.

Prices have increased 108$ to 171$ for the visit + any additional test or cost when you walk out the door. Not happy with the price change if there’s no tangible benefit or improvement in care. If there is a change in care for the new up charge I would love to know what’s improved.

My wife just recently went to Family Medical in Griffin. I accompanied her from the waiting room to the exam room. Maybe it was a day of blessings meant for us, but total time from entering the bldg and a Dr entering the exam room was less than 30 min, no joke! Dr Zanetta(forgive me if I got the first name wrong)Bryant was one of the best physicians that we have ever seen. She very professional, thorough and knowledgeable. She was very patient and answered all of our questions completely! She showed us xray pics and explained the sciatica nerve issues that was causing pain, she discussed treatment options and prescribed meds. One of the best Dr office experience we've ever had!

i always like the care i receive but today they tried to charge for covid testing & steroid injections, why not put that claim with my insurance? i never paid for any injections here and they never gave me notice before offering, of course when i go to check out, they want to charge me almost $200!!! why did you not inform the patient before going through with it?!? any scans or tests not covered by insurance is usually discussed with patient for consent and approval! I will be contesting this bill when they send it! This is BS! Do better!

I went to this doctor’s office after falling and twisting my ankle for an x ray. The doctor told me that I had a foot fracture and to come back in a week for another x ray. A week later I returned for the x ray. The doctor I saw previously was not in the office so I saw a different doctor. This doctor took new x rays and looked at my old x rays and told me she did not see a fracture in either photos. Basically telling me the initial diagnosis was incorrect. I have now been charged over 400 dollars (with insurance) for the first visit when I wasn’t even accurately diagnosed. I’m sure the second bill I get will be as ridiculous as the first.

Their new policy is to charge a certain percentage if you haven’t met your deductible.So, on top of my copay I had to pay 150 to get out. Will find somewhere else to go to.

There are more providers than not that are great at this place. With that being said, a couple here may be bad and will cause you to waste your time, money, and walk out with no answers and/or treatment. Be careful and do your research finding the best ones. Tony and a few others ive seen recently are great. This place overall is great and really cares about your overall wellbeing. I have been coming here, on and off for most of my life and even though some of the providers may change, i believe the overall value has not. Im writing this review because of a recent experience. I came in sick here months ago and i was told that i had to pay the full amount of the visit. I was upset because i thought that was not true. I had just started a new job with new insurance. I know deductibles, copays, and just insurance in general can get very confusing, but this was my 2nd time coming here with my new insurance and i only had to pay the copay last time. Anyways, i was very sick, i knew i couldnt debate my way out of it, and even though i really didnt have it to give, i paid it anyway and just took it as a loss. I just got a check for the full amount that i paid that day. I know this was something they are suppose to do, but most offices do not and they keep the money to themselves. This place is honest and i recommend it to anyone.
