The staff was rude and they misdiagnosed a major issue that required a emergency surgery. They need to be taught empathy and how to properly read a CT Scan. At the very least, transfer to a larger facility if they are unsure about the diagnosis.

For starters I am nonconfrontstional and soft-spoken. I've been to this medical facility before, however my last experience was by far the most indecent encounter with a nurse. Nurse Noel who didn't see me as a Human even in his line of work and mocked me when I told him the needle stick had an excruciating burn to it he then mocked me by saying " Oh I've heard they sting, and now they burn." Ive heard it all, and continued to insert the needle. I then asked certain questions and noticed right away asking questions were prohibited. I woke up to My entire forearm purple and green. I cried.How people are treated in a time of sickness matters. I personally would never trust any babies, older women, or anyone sick hurt or otherwise to seek a nurse help at this facility.

Don’t waste your time at this facility. Especially not with your children. Please go to the downtown location. The head nurse don’t know anything. They lie and say anything to get you off the phone. The transfers are ridiculous. I need cooperate Number so I can seriously complain on each person and how I was mishandled. My child need his machine. Now they trying to tell me oh we can’t proscribe that. Huh well why give him medication for it and all honesty why send a baby home if you know he still wheezing without it. They will fail you and your kids thank God for a back up plan waiting for a sharhonda to call me back and who knows if she ever will the nurses just lie for no reason.

Awful service. My father was admitted in the ER with stroke like symptoms. I had to call five times to get an update. They kept transferring me to a nursing station that apparently was unmanned. They transferred me to invalid numbers, hung up on me multiple times. Worst service EVER! This is a hospital! families are already stressed about their love ones and the staff is insensitive, don’t care and just rude. Stay away from this location.

I have been to this ER twice now. And every time they are caring, fast and work quickly to get my pain and symptoms under control. They efficiently diagnose and come up with a treatment plan for what the issue is. The trainees that are there are also professional and caring while they strive to learn the best ways to do things. I am impressed with the level of service I receive from check in to discharge and everything that happens in between.

I came here today 03-31-2022. Being new here moving from West Palm Beach where being in E.R is a nightmare. My experience here was pleasant the staff here really care about their patients. I came here for a tooth infection, but I almost had a stroke due to high blood pressure. They caught it,due to them being thorough and caring.I am very hard to get a I.V going usually because I have disappearing veins. Megan got it on her first try. No black and blue bruises. Dr. Smith was very kind and caring. He was concerned for my health. You guys saved my life and educated me as well.I don't know about other hospitals here in Jacksonville Fl. But if my life is on the line I rather be here. With people who care. Thank you Baptist

RN Nurse Amy is the nicest ever! I am very impressed how she took care her patients. Outstanding job! We need more nurses like you. But far as the wait , I was in there for 2-3 hours and my daughter was discharged! I guess it's all depends when you go in ! But they're quick and fast with me. Thank you, Amy!

I will never visit this hospital or ER again! I’m writing this review after being in the ER waiting room for 4 hours, still here... At 3 hours I checked in to see if my name had been missed because I seen various people who came after me, get taken back. The woman sitting at the registration desk was so rude that she sent me off to the nurse by yelling “Can you talk to her?” The nurse then tells me that what I’m experiencing isn’t concerning enough so I should relax and wait for a room. I was livid, I then told them to reach out to the charge nurse. I know it’s usual for hospital staff to treat Black women as if we are superhuman and like we can take excruciating amounts of pain and deal with it, but I can’t believe these type of beliefs are still being carried in 2023. I’ve now been waiting for the charge nurse for an hour. This is one of the most disgusting, discourteous, and unpleasant experiences I’ve had at a hospital.
